Jennifer Lopez’s 2021 Met Gala Look – Style

Jennifer Lopez turned heads at the 2021 Met Gala last week, and her hair stole the show!

Stylist Lorenzo Martin worked his magic on her tresses, using Wella Professionals products, ghd tools and Great Lengths extensions.

Martin tells us how he achieved this look below:

  • First, wash hair with Wella Nutricurls Shampoo and Conditioner. Then, apply Wella EIMI Lightweight Beauty Balm Lotion throughout the ends along with Wella EIMI Flexible Volumizing Spray at the roots. Comb out hair with the ghd Detangling Comb. Blow dry out with the ghd Helios Professional Hair Dryer and ghd Ceramic Vented Round Brush in 4.
  • “To create the long pony, we added Great Lengths 20” GL Tapes tape-in extensions. Tease the hair with ghd Tail Comb at the roots before clipping in for an extra hold, mixing BR03, RT67, BR08 and BR06 for a custom blend. To give it the wild, wild theme, I curled the hair with the ghd Curve Soft Curl Iron.”
  • “Then, I mixed Wella EIMI Dry Me Shampoo along with the Wella Shape Shift Molding Gum with Shine Finish for texture and secured her hair into a tight pony. Lastly, I misted Wella EIMI Glam Mist to complete the look!”
