Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Shibuya is a deep navy blue jelly with red-gold-green multichrome iridescent shimmer. I wore it in three thin coats, but two thicker coats will cover. It has a great, quick-drying formula.
Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Shinjuku is a violet jelly with pink/green/blue multichrome iridescent shimmer. I wore it in four thin coats and it remained jelly-like. The dry time is quick. The shimmer on this polish sinks, so you need to shake it well before polishing, but plenty comes out on the nail. I recommend thin coats of shimmer-heavy polishes like this to minimize bubbling.
Now for live swatches!
You can pick up the Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Neon Sin Duo starting Saturday, May 22 at 10PM EST in the Facebook group The Octosquad. I love the inspiration, since my memories of living in Tokyo are so precious to me. Have you been to Japan or live there? *sent by the maker for photography and review*
