When styling hair, dimension is crucial to accentuate texture and finish. It’s hard to see detail on extremely light monochromatic blonde, but the right balance of light and dark blonde tones together creates the perfect palette to capture light and reflect shine and curl pattern. Here, Lindsey Olson, Sam Villa ambassador offers tips for styling gorgeous blonde curls.
Hot Styling Tip: When working with thermal tools, remember that blondes show everything, so bevel or round the section upon contact to prevent iron marks.
- Section hair while working with Sam Villa Dry Sectioning Clips for control.
- Dry hair with a Sam Villa Vision Blow Dryer and ceramic round brush. Blow-dry dry hair with Redken Full Frame 07 to create volume.
- Use a 3/4” Marcel iron and spiral tong hair with Redken Iron Shape 11 to set hair.
- Break set up with hands.
- Use a diffuser to create volume and a lived-in feel. Note: Allow the diffuser to do the work and keep hands out of the hair.
